Serve with a Thankful Heart
If you want to experience a life-change, then volunteer and serve. It’s what we are called to do. Jesus, himself, said we are to worship the Lord God and serve him only (Luke 4:8). - Curriculum and Craft Coordinator -
Responsible for creating substitute boxes to be used on Sunday mornings. Coordinate distribution of curriculum under the direction of the Preschool Director. Plan crafts for substitute boxes, special events, or other various times. Help in evaluating what the supplies for each age room should be.

- Preschool Leadership Team -Responsible for a certain aspect of Preschool Ministry (ex. 8, 9:30, or 11am Bible Fellowship, Cubbies, etc...) Coordinate all aspects of that ministry under the direction of the Preschool Director. Plan special activities for the preschoolers and preschool leadership. Help in evaluating Preschool curriculum. Aid in determining equipment and space needs for your ministry area. Assist in securing new volunteers and leaders. Encourage preschool volunteers in your area through prayer and kind words.

- Preschool Teacher -Responsible for teaching preschool age children. In order to be an effective teacher, consideration should be given to more than teaching in a given program. Outreach, worship, ministry, witnessing and supporting the church make teaching more effective. A teacher will be asked to guide the children toward a love of God by teaching the Bible in a simple, activity-oriented manner.

- Preschool Desk -
Responsible for registering visitors and directing them to their classrooms. Responsible for contacting the parents during a session when needed.

- Hall Monitors -Responsible for checking parents’ and children’s’ security tags as they enter the Preschool area. Responsible for walking the Preschool halls during session hours and helping with moving children as needed.

- Bye-Bye Buggy Pusher -Responsible for patrolling the Preschool hall with a bye-bye buggy and strolling those children around that are having a hard time in their preschool class.

- Awana -Responsible for leading a small group of children or helping with special activities related to the Awana Clubs program.

- Preschool Buddy -Shadow a preschooler during various sessions that has special needs, requirements or needs special attention.

- VBS -Responsible for leading a small group of children during the VBS week, helping with the group session, leading a break out room, coordinating snacks or other various needs during the VBS week.

- Preschool Office Support -Available to assist the Preschool Office during the week with various activities (mass mailings, toy cleaning, cleaning out cabinets/closets, making phone calls, etc…)

- Scheduling Coordinator -
Responsible for the volunteers who serve in Preschool Ministry on a weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month basis on Sunday mornings. This person makes calls during the week to various Preschool volunteers and parents to fill classrooms that do not have a consistent teacher in them each week.

- Preschool Resource Room Volunteer -Help answer questions and monitor the Resource Room during Preschool sessions. Help with sorting and organizing toys and supplies as needed.
