Serve with a Thankful Heart
If you want to experience a life-change, then volunteer and serve. It’s what we are called to do. Jesus, himself, said we are to worship the Lord God and serve him only (Luke 4:8). So if you desire to be all that God wants you to be, then check-out all the fun and exciting ways that you can join others in the Blackshear Place family, giving of themselves in service to our King.
- Kidz Praise Workers -
Workers in our Kidz Praise Children’s Choirs. We need volunteers to listen to children recite their hymns that they have memorized. We need helpers in each of our choirs to assist with discipline, snacks, events, etc. We also are in need of individuals who can help us in making our costumes for various presentations. If you could help in any of these areas, please contact the worship ministry office.

- Musicians/Instrumentalists -
Musicians/Instrumentalists to play in the BPBC worship orchestra. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in the choir room. The BPBC worship orchestra plays in each Sunday morning and evening worship service. They also assist in major events and productions such as concerts, Labor Day and 4th of July Celebrations, Christmas Presentations, Easter Presentations, and other special events. We need individuals who play trumpet, saxophone, trombone, french horn, clarinet, flute, rhythm (guitar/bass guitar), or percussion. If you are interested in participating, please call the worship ministry office.

- Singers -
Singers who have a passion for worshiping the Lord and a love of singing. Our BPBC Worship Choir meets for rehearsal each Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in the Worship Center and each Sunday afternoon at 4:30 PM in the choir room. The worship choir leads in our AM and PM worship services each Sunday, as well as special presentations throughout the year. If you would like to participate, feel free to attend the next scheduled rehearsal or for more information, call our worship ministry office.

- Prosper Student Choir Volunteers -
Volunteers to serve in our PROSPER Student Choir. The Student Choir rehearses each Sunday afternoon at 4:30 PM in the Basement of Building D. Volunteers can assist in serving meals and snacks, taking attendance, serving as adult workers on choir trips, and other areas within our student choir. If you would like to assist in this exciting ministry, please give us a call in the worship ministry office.
