What is Girls Ministry?
There is such pressure for young girls to maintain the look, attitude, and persona the world sets before them. The girls ministry at Blackshear Place teaches girls the importance of being satisfied in Christ and how to become more like Christ. We want to teach girls these truths through exciting and creative ways. Understanding the importance of forming relationships, we have opportunities for fellowship, service, Bible studies, and other “girls only” events.

What do we do?
Bible studies, small group fellowships, service opportunities, sleepovers, and girls conference.

Meet Sarah Rigdon: Girls Ministry Director
Sarah loves teaching, encouraging, and inspiring girls to pursue Christ. She also loves to just hang out and talk over a cup of coffee. Her desire is to help guide them through this time in their lives by showing them how God’s Word is applicable to every situation in their lives. Sarah loves the challenge and excitement that comes with working with teenage girls. She says, “They inspire me to truly understand who they are and the potential they have in Christ. I know they can have a great impact in our world.”
