There are many people hurting in our world today. Blackshear Place is committed to helping the poor and those in need meet the basic necessities of life. We partner with regional ministries like Good News at Noon and the Chattahoochee Baptist Association to help meet food and shelter needs of those in our community. If there is another need, benevolence requests are handled through our Deacon Ministry. The process for these requests is detailed below:
- The process begins after the applicant attends one of our Sunday morning small groups we call Bible Fellowship. For a complete listing of all adult Bible Fellowship groups, Click Here.
- After the applicant attends, paperwork for assistance can be filled out on Mondays between 9-11 am in the church office.
- An appointment with a deacon will follow on Wednesday to determine the support that can be given and when those needs can be met.
