2012 Ministry Plan
God is up to something. We can sense His presence. We sense that He wants more of us. His desire is to take us to another level of commitment individually and as a church.
God not only longs for a relationship with us, He demands radical commitment from us. His heart beats for people — all people. God’s yearning is for His church to be about adjusting our lives and aligning our priorities to bring Him glory. This is realized in the way we go on mission, impact future generations, expend our capacity for ministry, and embrace a God-sized vision. To this end, we at Blackshear Place are compelled! We have structured our ministry and budgets to accomplish these tasks.

Pastor Jeff will launch a new series from the Gospel of Luke. We will be looking together at amazing examples of how God can take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.

Compelled Commitment Day
Sunday February 5 | Worship Center
With a Special Offering & Time of Commitment
Special Offering Goal $450,000
On this day, we will join together in a day of celebration. Pastor Jeff will lead us to commit to our Compelled Ministry Plan and participate in a special first-fruits offering to begin the 9:30 service in The Venue. This special offering will enable us to purchase cameras and equipment for the simulcast service. It also will provide preschool, children’s, and adult Bible Fellowship support and allow us to add necessary staff for these new ministries. Begin praying about what commitment you and your family will make this day. May our love for Christ compel us to do more for Him in 2012 than ever before.
