Operation Christmas ChildOctober 19-November 24
BPBC Collection Dates:
October 19-November 24
Operation Christmas Child is a unique project of Samaritan’s Purse that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. It provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple hands-on project that has the power to transform children’s lives. Every year, generous people in our church and across the world lovingly pack shoe boxes with gifts – simple, yet powerful messages of God’s unconditional love.
OCC display booths are set up in the Missions Connection Center, Main Lobby and The Venue Lobby, to provide more information and to collect your boxes. Remember to give $7 or more per box to cover shipping costs. If you have any questions, please call the Missions Office at 770.534.7058.
This year, BPBC will be a regional shoe box collection site for all who live in our area. Volunteers are needed to assist in this collection
opportunity. You will play a vital role in the gospel going out to the world from our own community.

Advancing The MissionCurrent Sunday Morning Series From Pastor Jeff Crook
Advance. Growth. Progress. These words spill off the pages of Scripture in the Book of Acts. Once a small group huddle in an upper room, the church quickly and mysteriously explodes throughout every facet of the Roman Empire and beyond. How did this happen? What caused this exponential expansion? How did the mission of the church advance? Come and explore these early beginnings as Pastor Jeff teaches Sunday mornings through Acts.
As we advance through the Book of Acts, we will look at ways we can put what we are learning into practice. Special emphasis throughout the year will focus us on how we can advance the mission. These emphasis will include:
Advancing the Mission Through Giving
Giving back a portion of what God has given us is a great way we can all advance the mission.
Advancing the Mission Through Reaching
Looking for ways we can introduce others to the Good News is what we are all called to do.
Advancing the Mission Through Serving
We can all serve others and be salt and light in our communities and all around the world.
