Faith StoriesCurrent Teaching Series
Faith is more than a quietly held belief. God’s Word shows that true faith leads to action, and those who exhibit faith in Almighty God can do amazing things. Join Pastor Jeff each week as he leads us to explore the lives of men and women who were faith-champions and find out how we can live as people of faith today.
MosaicFoster Care Awareness Month
Paul reminds us that we have been chosen and adopted by our Heavenly Father (Ephesians 1:3-10). Therefore, we, more than any others, should be moved to foster and adopt the 250,000 children who wade in and out of the foster care system each year. The need is great! Everyone can do something…
PRAY AND PARTICIPATE
WE NEED FOSTER FAMILIES! There are only 20 families in Hall County that foster children, even less in Barrow and Jackson counties. Would you pray about opening up your home?
WE NEED RESPITE FAMILIES! Emotional hardships and burnout are not uncommon among foster families. Would you pray about providing a respite weekend or respite week for a fostering family?
WE NEED SUPPORT FAMILIES! Foster families often struggle to get away for a few hours for a date or grocery shopping. They may need a meal brought to their home or someone to simply help mow their yard. Would you pray about being a support family that can be contacted when a variety of needs arise?
WE NEED YOU! Pray for the brokenness that is so evident in foster care. Then, come and see how the littlest thing can mean so much.
