BPBC Essentials

Construction Updates and Notices

Throughout the exciting construction of our new worship center and children’s area, we want to help everyone be aware of location changes, parking notices, and safety updates. We will communicate all of these items through the “BPBC Essentials” campaign. So be sure to read all of our BPBC Essentials closely!

November 26 Update
The Fellowship Hall entrance has been re-routed to a narrow ramp and path over a median giving access to the parking lots. PLEASE access the back parking lots via Wallis Rd., The Venue, or smaller Atlanta Hwy. entrance.

Discipleship Groups

These groups are designed to help you go deeper in your faith. Attending one of these group s will give you the opportunity to be encouraged by sound Biblical teaching that will help you live your faith in practical ways.Blackshear Place offers activities for every age and stage of life on Wednesdays. Our classes and life groups are a great way for adults to connect through activities. We also have many opportunities to grow in your faith.

Kidz Praise
Kidz Theater
Your children are invited to join us from 5:30 – 6:20 pm (before AWANA) in the Kidz Theater for a great time of music, praise, drama, and activities.

AWANA
Preschool/Children’s Areas + Building A
This high-energy, scripture-rich ministry offers children from preschool through fifth grade an opportunity to learn God’s Word in an interactive environment. During construction, all K-5th Grade AWANA Clubs will meet in the Smalltown & Venture Zone areas of Building A.

Student Worship
The Venue & The Annex
A weekly experience for students to engage in worship, to be equipped through relevant messages, and to be encouraged through relational small groups. Due to construction, we will be starting a new Wednesday night schedule for the months of August & September (we will go back to regular Wednesday night schedule starting in October, construction permitting).

Taped at the 2007 Deeper Still women’s event, the messages presented by these beloved authors are divided into three segments, two lessons from each author. Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life: as a young man (sessions one and two by Priscilla Shirer), as a middle-aged man (sessions three and four by Beth Moore), and as a man facing the final third of his life (sessions five and six by Kay Arthur). You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them.

Blackshear Place partners with local schools to provide food for hungry children whose only meals are those they get at school. This group prepares backpacks full of donated food to deliver to these children.

Kidz Praise Presentation

Join us in the BPBC Worship Center on Sunday, December 4 at 6:00pm for this Kidz Praise children’s choir Christmas adventure featuring vibrant songs and drama that deliver the truth of God’s Word in a fun and exciting way. The story follows a group of compassionate and fun-loving kids as they learn to give God’s love to others while selling Christmas trees outside of Mr. Carmichael’s toy store to raise money for children in need. Bring a friend or family member to witness the powerful love of Christ as this story unfolds!

In a season of busyness and stress, this will be a day to be encouraged and uplifted. We are glad to welcome guest speaker Dr. Ted Traylor, pastor of Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida, as he brings a word of spiritual refreshment from God’s Word in all of our morning services. Dr. Traylor has served as pastor of Olive Baptist Church since 1990. He is known for his uncompromising stand on Biblical issues and strong defense of the Christian faith. He has preached extensively throughout the United States and has authored two books. He and his wife, Liz, have two children and two grandchildren. Invite that stressed out neighbor or co-worker to join you for church on this Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00am.

Join us for this Christmas Worship Experience featuring new Christmas songs, carols, and passionate worship music presented by the BPBC Worship Choir and Orchestra. Multimedia, drama, and music will lead us to the manger where Emmanuel came to dwell with us. Invite someone to be your guest on Saturday or Sunday night. Nursery is provided for Birth through Pre-K.

Anyone wishing to participate in our Christmas baptism services with Pastor Jeff needs to sign up by contacting the church office or stop by the Welcome Desk. No childcare. Gluten-free communion wafers will be available.
